AAA Suspension LA02 Airbag Kit Nissan Patrol MK MQ GQ GU with Leaf Springs & Small Diff.

Airbag kit includes two airbags, vehicle specific airbag mounts, required bolts, air fittings, air line tubing and inflation valves. Full instructions available.

This is a brand-new airbag load assist kit to suit the rear of the following vehicles:

• NISSAN PATROL – MK, MQ, GQ (Y60), GU (Y61) – ALL MODELS W/ LEAF SPRINGS, SMALL DIFF

Note: This is for the regular size H233 diff and excludes the bigger H260 Diff. The smaller H233 diff (which this kit suits) has round axle tube all the way between wheel and diff whereas the bigger H260 has a square shaped axle tube towards the diff. Our LA129 kit does the bigger H260 (square axle) diff and our CA15 does Coil rear in utes and wagons.

We provide a number of kitting options for our AAA Suspension Airbag Kits. Pricing is for an Airbag Kit with Powder Coat brackets. You can change to Galvanised brackets at additional cost. We also can offer in cab wiring kits. By selecting an “In-Cab Kit”, you will also be supplied with all the gear required to control the air in your bags from the inside of your vehicle, and you can option for us to supply a compressor included in the In-Cab kit for you too if you do not already have one installed. Just pick through your options when checking out.

By specifying that you have a 2-3″ lift, you will be upgraded to the triple convoluted bags to suit the added lift.

The AAA leaf assist airbag kit replaces your bump stops and effectively becomes a bump stop conversion that can help you carry a load. When unloaded you want some air in the bags (10-15 psi) so you have some cushion or softness in the new bump stop effect. Then as you load up just add more air – what ever it takes to keep the vehicle level.  The AAA kit is rated at 2.5t so that’s the bags being capable of lifting 2.5t of additional weight over the rear axle. Your real limit is your GVM and what’s safe and sensible, but know the bags are up for what ever your load might be.

The rubber in the bags is heavier than the rubber in the sidewalls of your tyres so they last for ever seeing there is no rubbing or moving parts as such. AAA kits come with a 10 year new for old warranty on all bags, brackets, airlines and valves.
