Replacement for the original rear door stay. Offering a nice easy action, that will eliminate the door slamming open/closed on slopes or high wind. Comes with a 'lock in open position' cover, that can be easily removed if not required.

You are purchasing the strut to give you 90 Degree of Opening also available in a 100 Degree version.

Instructions

1- Pry off the original strut retaining clips from each end of the factory strut with a small screwdriver & remove the old strut assembly.

2- Remove small clips from new end fittings. Fit new strut assembly, being sure of orientation as per instruction photos. Refit small clips.

* Remember you need to press the red button every time you close the door. If you don't like the locking cover it is removable.
