Introducing MDK Engineering, Products that have been designed and tested for the Y62 platform exclusive to The 4wd Shed.

At The 4wd Shed we are excited to work with MDK engineering, a company that shares our passion for 4wding and bringing innovative products to market, solving the many problems and cost associated with modifying the Y62 suspension.

All MDK products have designed in CAD by qualified BEng Mech SA & IAME engineers and meet ADR design requirements and are road legal under VSB14. Manufacturing locally allows prototypes to be tested and tweaked in the real world then thoroughly tested both on and off road to ensure both fit and performance. Our local manufacturing also allows lead times to be reduced and customisation.

The MDK Lower Control Arm lift kit complete with bump stop system was invented to bring a cost effective option to the Y62 market. If you are looking to lift your vehicle due to intended load carrying or fit bigger tyres without losing wheel travel a lower control arm lift is a great option for your 4WD.

We have built this package as a complete suspension package, giving you the choice to add or change requirements to suit you & your vehicle set-up. You will start with the below choices.

• MDK01014 - MDK 50mm Lower Control Arm Lift & Bump Stop Kit Nissan Patrol Y62 - No Front Load
• MDK01013 - MDK 50mm Lower Control Arm Lift & Bump Stop Kit Nissan Patrol Y62 - Bullbar &/or winch.

Once you have the LCA lift kit option selected, you will then choose whether to add front & rear diff drop kits.

• MDK-01022 - Diff Drop Kit Nissan Y62 Patrol - Front 25mm
• MDK-01023 - Diff Drop Kit Nissan Y62 Patrol - Rear 40mm

Next up is the rear spring choice. There is either the light load King Spring or a heavier duty Dobinson to be selected.

• KDRR-303 King Springs 0-100kg Constant Rear
• C45-357 - Dobinson Coil Spring 250-350kg Rear

Back to the front & we recommend the Blackhawk Upper Control Arm

Will suit all Y62 S1-S5 models. MDK components are Made, Designed & Tested here locally in Victoria. Additional items such as coil springs, UCAs etc have been chosen due to testing, durability & our own support of those products.

Wheel Alignment is required after installing this product. We recommend rechecking all suspension components within 1000km of driving after installation, in order to allow vehicle to be weight-bearing on road & vehicle to settle.
