This newly designed Saber Alloy Recovery Hitch, crafted from Billet Aluminium, offers unmatched strength at only 1.5kg, outperforming steel alternatives with a tested resilience of 35,000kg. It’s longer design allows for fitment in even more hitch receivers. It’s Australian Prismatic Powder and Cerakote Ceramic Coating ensure UV stability and stunning colours, while the soft shackle only design enhances safety and versatility. With compatibility for both vertical and horizontal orientations on a standard 50mm/2” Tow Hitch, it’s both more functional and more striking than others on the market.

What makes this rear recovery hitch special?

Manufactured from Billet Aluminium

When only the best will do, this newly designed Recovery Hitch is manufactured from Billet Aluminium, making it not just incredibly strong, but also lightweight. This soft shackle friendly rear hitch is significantly lighter than any steel tow hitch on the market, coming in at 1.5kg.  This hitch has an official Minimum Breaking Strain of 20,000kg, however it has been tested to over 35,000KG (77,000lbs) with no deformation and without breaking. The Saber Alloy Recovery Hitch is designed to suit a towbar with a 50mm x 50mm (AS4177) hitch receiver. Please check the rating on the tow system before use.

The Australian Prismatic Powder and Cerakote Ceramic Coating on our aluminium rear hitches gives strong UV stability matched with stunning colours that will surely impress.  It is  available in two colours Black (Cerakote) and Red Prismatic.

Designed for Soft Shackles

We do not see a reason to design a metal product that then requires metal to be added to the system, so this recovery tow hitch is solely designed for use with soft shackles. Whilst some metal shackles might fit, we actively suggest using rope or soft shackles where possible.

Design flexibility

Designed to fit a standard 50mm/2” Tow Hitch and can be fitted on the vertical and horizontal axis.
