Which Brake Controller is For You?
EB2 Trailer-Mounted
EB2 is mounted to your draw bar and plugs into the trailer and your vehicle via the Elecbrakes adaptor.
VM1 Vehicle-Mounted
VM1 is mounted to your vehicle and wired to your car’s auxiliary power, it plugs into your trailer via the Elecbrakes leader.
Multiple Vehicles
With the EB2 mounted on your trailer, other vehicles can tow it without a brake controller installed on the vehicle.
Multiple Trailers
The VM1 is installed into the vehicle. It means you can tow multiple trailers with the one vehicle.
Plug & Play Install
Install EB2 yourself in under 10 minutes. Simply screw the EB2 to your trailer and plug it in.
Auto Electrician
VM1 may be installed by a licenced Auto Electrician, following the provided install guide they will mount and wire the unit to your vehicle.
Taillights or Auxiliary
EB2 is powered via the adapter, receiving power from the tail & brake or auxiliary & brake light circuits.
Powered by Auxiliary
VM1 requires auxiliary power provided by your tow vehicle, when the unit is not in use it will enter sleep mode to conserve vehicle battery.
