Formula 4x4 GVM upgrades require engineering and/or mod-plating to be signed off. This means that this GVM upgrade can only be installed by us at our workshop in Bayswater, Vic.

We will be in contact to confirm your order details, your requirements, and your vehicle specifications. All to ensure that we give you the right product. There is a pre-inspection that will be required before the kit can be ordered so we can determine that the GVM upgrade is correct for you.

ENGINEERING IN VICTORIA
Post-Rego
When purchasing this GVM kit, as per state legislation, vehicle engineering is required. This is completed by an engineer who signs off on the installation of the GVM upgrade kit and then provides a mod plate for your vehicle. For post-rego vehicles (vehicles that are already registered) there is an additional cost for this as the data for your already registered vehicle needs to be changed and a new mod plate needs to be assigned to the already registered vehicle. If you have modifications to your vehicle, then these may be inspected & additional codes may be applied, leading to adjusted costs.
 
Pricing for Engineering starts from $1,045
 
Pre-Rego
For pre-rego vehicles (before the vehicle is first ever registered) the GVM upgrade is applied & the ROVER database is updated. There is no charge for this service, as an external engineer is not required to inspect the vehicle. Approvals are done all in-house at The 4WD Shed in conjunction with Fulcrum Suspension.
