Twin Tube Design
A twin-tube design with a 40mm piston and a 20mm shaft provides excellent performance and is designed to give a more comfortable and improved ride.
Low-pressure Nitrogen Gas prevents cavitation of oil inside the shock when it heats up during use over rough roads, allowing the shocks to work more consistently.
Heat Treated Alloy Steel Piston
The piston has a Teflon coating, allowing it to slide smoothly with less friction.
The shock absorber velocity sensing valve can accurately control the required damping force for different conditions.
Highest Quality Materials
Highly polished Chrome shaft ensures long shaft life.
High-quality seals are designed to protect against oil leaks and perform very well even in dusty and dirty conditions.
40mm Piston
Our Superior Nitro Gas Shocks feature a robust 40mm Teflon-coated piston, engineered for enhanced durability and smooth operation. These shocks also incorporate a sophisticated velocity sensing valve stack, designed to provide optimal damping performance by automatically adjusting to changing driving conditions, ensuring a superior ride quality and improved handling.
Shock Shaft
The 20mm steel shaft features a high-polish, chromium-plated finish, specifically engineered for long-lasting durability and resistance to corrosion. This ensures optimal performance and an extended lifespan even under demanding conditions
Nitrogen Gas Charged
Nitrogen Gas (Nitro Gas) charged to minimize cavitation during the high-speed oscillations encountered in off-road conditions, ensuring consistent performance and stability.
Welded Pins & Eyes
Superior Engineering Nitro Gas shocks feature fully welded pin and eye ends, a design choice that surpasses the spot weld system used by some other shock manufacturers. This robust welding method significantly reduces the likelihood of shock failures.
Twin Tube Design
The twin-tube design allows for increased oil capacity without the need for remote reservoirs, effectively maintaining cooler operating temperatures during off-road use. This design ensures better performance and longevity of the shock absorbers under demanding conditions.
Silicon Dust Boot
All Superior Nitro Gas shocks come equipped with silicon dust boot. These boots safeguard the shocks from rocks and other debris that could potentially damage the shaft or seals, ensuring enhanced protection and longevity of the shocks.
