On Toyota 4WDs fitted with larger tyres, it is not uncommon for theses studs to work loose in the swivel housing.
This causes oil leaks from swivel hubs, shaking in the steering and in the worst case total failure of the steering and the wheel hub assembly causing the wheel to completely fall off.
The E torx studs provided in this kit allows proper tension stud (80nm) with a drop of loctite 243. Included is new taper cones nuts and washers. It is highly recommended replacing these when you over haul your swivel hubs.
